About

This was a fun little project, which I decided to do as I am fan boy of  the Legio Draconis website.

This Screen Saver has some default Legio pics from the past couple of years and is initially setup to show the
latest Legio News, which has been posted to the front page.  You are able to change the RSS feed,
which you are subscribed to as well as select a directory to use for rotating the pictures through the
screen saver.

Installation Details

The LegioSS program works with Windows XP and Windows 2000.  

You will also need to download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework from Microsoft's website.
1. HERE for most Intel and AMD 32-bit based computers.
2. HERE for most Intel 64-bit based computers.
3. HERE for most AMD 64-bit based computers.

If you are not sure which to use, then try the first one as it most likely is the one for you.
The .NET framework are larger files.

Once .NET is installed, you need to put the ssLegioNews.scr file
in one of these 2 locations based on your version of Windows:

Windows 98 or XP:    C:\WINDOWS\system32
Windows 2000 or NT:  C:\WinNT\system32 

Everything should be set now, open your Display Properties->Screen Saver and look for your
LegioNews Screen Saver!
